How Do I Take CBD Oil? Why Putting CBD Under Your Tongue is Best!
Putting CBD under your tongue is called taking it ‘sublingually’. It’s a fast and efficient way to take CBD, as CBD absorbs through your mouth directly into your bloodstream, and only a minor amount of CBD is swallowed.
By not passing through your digestive system, your body is able to absorb more of the CBD and it gets to work much quicker – in just a few minutes!
What Does CBD Do?
CBD works by interacting with the Endocannabinoid system (or ECS) in our body; the system that makes sure we stay at our optimal balance. It is responsible for regulating things like memory, sleep, mood, appetite, and more. First, Check What Strength CBD Oil You Have
Check the box and label! CBD is measured in milligrams or MG, and to make it easy for customers, CBD strength should also be shown as a %. You should also be able to check the lab-reports of the product you are using to make sure the CBD content is as advertised!
Our CBD Oils come in 3 easy to understand strengths, and all come with lab-reports readily available to guarantee CBD concentrations.
Our lowest strength: 5% – Great if you need a low daily dose or if you are new to CBD
Our mid-strength: 10% – The most popular strength of CBD, great for controlling dosage and a long- lasting product.
Our highest strength: 15% – If you require a higher daily dose for your needs, or you’re looking for the most cost efficient and longest lasting option.

Getting Started: How Many Drops of CBD Oil Should I Take?
When starting out, remember to start low and take it slow!
Begin with a low dosage of 8-12 mg of CBD per day.
Remember to read your product label and calculate how many drops this would be based on the product you are using.
You can choose to take your number of drops over 1, 2 or even 3 servings.
As an example, if you are using 3 drops, you could take 1 in the morning and 2 in the evening.
It’s important to try and stay consistent! Try to take the same amount of CBD everyday, at around the same time, and pay attention to how you feel.
Some people notice effects right away, but for others it can take up to 4 weeks. Try to stick with this starting dosage for your first 2-4 weeks to get a feel of how CBD works for you!
What is the Best CBD Dosage?
Most people find using 10mg – 30mg of CBD works best for them! We are all unique, some of us will need more, and some less. But this can be a great guideline when finding a dosage that works best for you! Remember to start low & take it slow!
Your needs may change due to circumstances in your own life and some days you may feel you need a little extra, that’s okay! Just remember not to exceed 70mg of CBD per day.
How to use CBD Oil -
Shake well before each use!
Gently squeeze the oil into the glass dropper, and gently squeeze out 1 drop at a time, placing the drops under your tongue.
When using your CBD Oil, it is best to look in the mirror, so you can count how many drops you’re using and be sure on how many MG of CBD you take.
Hold under your tongue for 1-2 minutes, letting it absorb.
Swallow any remaining oil and wash down with water if necessary.
Increasing or Decreasing Your CBD Dosage
After the first 2-4 weeks, you may feel you need to adjust your dosage.
Try adding 1 drop to your daily dosage and test this for 4 days to a week and see how this works for you.
Taking more CBD doesn’t necessarily make it more effective, so it is always recommended to increase dosage gradually.
You can still achieve a higher CBD dose with a lower strength product, it just means you will use more drops and you’ll finish the bottle quicker!
If you find a slightly higher dosage works better for you, it can help to choose a higher strength product for your next order, it is more cost efficient and your product will last longer!
How Often Should I Use CBD Oil?
You can take your CBD dosage all at once or split your dosage over multiple servings throughout the day – you can decide what works best for you and your schedule!
Most people choose to split their dosage over 2-3 servings per day.
For example, if you find 25mg of CBD/day works best for you… you might decide to use 3 drops of 5% Uplift in the morning (1 drop = 2.08 mg CBD), and 3 drops of 15% Chill in the evening (1 drop = 6.24 mg CBD) – this is approx. 25mg of CBD in total.
What’s the Best Time to Take CBD Oil?
What time you take your CBD is completely up to you, and what works best with your schedule.
CBD is believed to work with your body’s natural sleep-wake cycle, where it promotes balance in your day-time energy, and helps your body to feel more calm and relaxed during the evening when it is time to rest. For best effects, it can sometimes help to take a lower dose during the day, and a higher dose during the evening – but of course we are all different, so test it out and see what works best for you!

How Quickly Does CBD Work? And How Long Does CBD Last?
This can depend on your body, how much you take and when you take it, but generally the effects of CBD Oil range from 2-6 hours.
We specialise in CBD Oils because they are fast-absorbing and get to work quickly and efficiently in your body. CBD edibles, capsules or drinks, are less effective and take longer to absorb as they must first pass through the digestive system.
Can I Take Too Much CBD? Is CBD Safe?
In 2018 the World Health Organisation stated that CBD is safe for use. It is non-intoxicating and non-addictive and the WHO found no public health risks or abuse potential for CBD. Keep in mind, current regulations state that it is not advised to exceed 70mg of CBD per day.
